I cleanse my skin with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser, removing any makeup I already have on with the MAC Cleanse Off Oil or the Taaj Himalaya Micellar Water. My skin is super oily in humid and hot weather, and the La Roche-Posay cleanser is formulated for oily skin. I then apply my Clarins UV Plus HP Day Sunscreen, which has protected me thus far from sunburns without adding too much shine to my skin. I also use a couple of hair products on a daily basis: I put the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum in my hair right after it has been washed, and I spray the Klorane Mango Oil throughout my hair to protect my hair from the elements before going in the sun or water (I talk about this product in another blog post here). As for minimal makeup, I conceal any spots and redness with the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, curl my lashes with my trusty Shu Uemura curlers, and apply L'oreal Telescopic Waterproof mascara to my lashes. Lastly, I finish with Nuxe Reve de Miel balm to moisturize and the Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint to add a pop of bright pink to my lips.
The result is by no means flawless, but I like it because it's natural and takes only five minutes to do. Of course, this isn't absolutely everything I use, but these are the products I've most enjoyed for the daytime. Who knows, maybe I'll keep the same routine after leaving Guadeloupe!
