Life lately has been a lot of rain, work and little pick-me-ups. We celebrated my brother's birthday by feasting all day and watching old cartoons. I tried a couple of eateries for the first time: Veggie Grill, a restaurant that offers healthier vegetarian spins on traditional American "comfort foods" like burgers and fries, and Evolution Fresh, a juice bar that's owned by (surprise, surprise) Starbucks. I cleaned out my makeup stash and indulged in a few new skincare and makeup items that have fewer nasty ingredients and more natural ones... my Tarte blush, for instance, and some others I'll be telling you about soon! And I went on a pedicure date with my mom at a salon that uses Seche Vite polishes; it was my second pedicure ever and even though I'm probably the ticklish person ever, I felt very pampered!
The love you have for your dog just melts my heart!

ReplyDeleteI love your 'life lately' posts. I don't have pedicures often because I'm so damn ticklish as well, but they are so lovely! The pomegranate and herbal tea jelly looks delicious.
