One Size Fits All

Reversible Easy Sweater - American Apparel   |   Necklace - Forever 21

I went into American Apparel to try on the famous "Disco Pant." I left with pretty much the opposite of form-fitting shiny spandex: this salt-and-pepper one-size-fits-all "Reversible Easy Sweater." It's one of the most oversize sweaters I've ever worn (unless you count the ones I've stolen borrowed indefinitely from the mister). It has a boucle texture and voluminous batwing sleeves, and it's lightweight despite looking like a wearable bear hug. Other than that, I can't explain why I was smitten. Worn with leggings and over-the-knee boots, it's perfectly fuss-free, and it kind of makes me wish that the principle of "one size fits all" wasn't impossible quite so often. The necklace was a $9 bargain from Forever 21 (yay one size fits all!). Sadly I can't find the link online, but it is most likely still in stores along with so many other affordable gems.

In case you're wondering, I did squeeze myself into a Disco Pant and it was seriously tempting. But most evenings these days I'm a homebody/bookworm, and I'm not sure that the occasional bedroom dance-party is a good enough excuse to justify the price tag... though I could very easily be persuaded otherwise...
