Weekend Reading

11.30.2013

I'm always bookmarking cool DIY things to try, but I rarely act upon them due to laziness, busyness or clumsiness. (Seriously, I should start a blog called "DIY Disasters.") But, after lusting after a spread of DIY advent calendars in last weekend's post, I did a little more research and stumbled upon a foolproof one that I'm now making myself! The Geometric Tree Advent Calendar was created by London-based design shop Pygmy Cloud and featured on the Etsy blog. I've always loved paper crafts like origami, so this is perfect. All you need are the things above, plus treats to put inside the trees (and, for added cuteness, a few toy woodland creatures). I'll show you how it turns out!

This week's "3 Ways to Wear" by Treasures and Travels, a blog I'm obsessed with at the moment!

And for a bit of comic relief... why you shouldn't be rude to strangers.
